Paid Search Planner/Buyer

The Tombras Group, an independent, 220+ person, national full-service advertising agency and the Ad Age National Small Agency of The Year, is looking for a Paid Search Media Planner/Buyer in our Knoxville office.

Candidate should have the following experience:


  • 5+ years of Paid Search execution; developing, implementing, optimizing, and managing paid search campaigns with annual budgets exceeding $4MM across Google and Bing.
  • 3+ years of Paid and Organic Search strategy; partnering with Brand / Client stakeholders to align search strategies with fiscal year planning and quarterly / key marketing initiatives, fully integrated with other digital media channels.
  • Strong experience with enterprise bid management platforms; Kenshoo and / or DoubleClick for Search.
  • Proven track record of setting up complex, hyperlocal search account structures for multiple brands / entities.
  • Innovative mindset to bring new concepts to clients in advanced search capabilities, ensuring a competitive search presence across brand, category, and competitive search tactics.
  • Ability to see larger digital / online trends and apply learnings to search strategies and tactics.
  • Experience leading search analysts, coordinating across multiple search subject matter experts with other digital channels and teams.
  • Google Adwords Certified
  • Adobe Omniture or Google Analytics experience
