MoonPie

Zoomed in view of the wavy surface of the Moon...Pie
overview

The closest images ever taken of the Moon…Pie.

Following NASA's release of 'the closest images ever taken of the moon', we pointed the same camera technology NASA used at the surface of the MoonPie. These incredibly detailed close ups revealed MoonPie's uncanny resemblance to the craters, ridges and vast plains of the moon's surface itself, only covered in chocolate, of course.

The misdirect invited people to take a closer look at the MoonPie like never before with headlines that mimicked language used by NASA when promoting their groundbreaking images of the moon's surface.
